Takada city has many bars, restaurants, karaoke bars and shopping opportunities. It is a city steeped in history, with several streets of beautiful shrines and shops that are over 100 years old. It is a place to experience a different Japan, than in the common touristic areas. During the winter season Takada hosts few tourists so you can feel more a part of the Japanese way of life.
